Tree Tree Essential Oil


This is an essential oil that you will want to add to your medicine cabinet as it has many wonderful uses.  Tea Tree oil has a fresh camphor like  odor and a color that ranges from pale yellow to nearly colorless and clear.  It is taken from the leaves of the melaleuca tree which is native to Southeast Queensland and the Northeast coast of New South Wales, Australia.  Tea tree oil used NEVER be ingested, only use topically.  Tree tree oil can be used for many things, and it worth a google to explore all of its many uses.  Listed below are a several of the highlights:
1. Use a dab to treat acne, Therapy Session the soap which has tea tree,
eucalyptus and lavender is also good for acne.
2. An anti-fungal for treating Athlete’s Foot, eczema, various yeast infections.
3. An antiseptic to be used on cuts and burns.
4. It is anti viral and may lessen the symptoms of colds and flu.
Try using a few drops in the warm restorative bath.
5. If you are battling chest congestion, add a few drops to  a vaporizer.
6. Add a small amount to shampoo to destroy head lice.
7.  It is also good for treating cold sores and herpes lesions.  Just a drop a few times a day when you feel an outbreak starting to erupt.
8.  Add tea tree oil to water to make a wonderful anti bacterial house cleaner.
